Great Veg Options

This place has great Veg options! They can make almost anything vegan/vegetarian for you and they have an amazing vegan carrot cake for dessert! Moderate pricing, great drink specials and tons of options makes this a top pic for me. Thursday-Saturday the wait can be a bit long for dinner and they don't take reservations. The occasional wait is my only gripe with this fab place.

What a great surprise. After reading a review from another reader, my family and I decided to give Mad Mex a try. The first time wasn't successful as the line was long and we left. The second time was the charm -- and it was so worth it. The restaurant has tofu and mushrooms as an option in all of its tacos, enchiladas and burritos. It also has Daiya cheese and Tofutti sour cream. If you don't see what you want, you can create your own. We loved everything we got. Everything was so fresh and tasty. We will be back sooner rather than later.

The herbovore tofu tacos are amazing and have an Asian fusion twist. They even offer their own homemade vegan carrot cake which is served warm and topped with a melted cream cheese frosting. The cake is moist and loaded with walnuts. Plus Mad Mex has a decent selection of craft beers.
